Pop Like a Pro

3 steps to prevent the cork from hitting the ceiling and bubbly spraying on the floor (or worse, your guests!):

1. Remove the foil and cage. Keep a thumb on the cork, because it can sometimes release unexpectedly.

2. Hold the bottle at a 45-degree angle. Place a napkin over the cork and hold it firmly. Then twist the bottle slowly, easing the cork out.

3. Pour into glasses slowly to avoid spilling over the top. Let the bubbles settle before topping up glasses.
