1. Choose a calm colour palette.
Paint walls in a soothing shade such as soft, light grey. Paint trim a slightly darker colour for contrast or choose white for a crisp, fresh look. Try a very pale blue on the ceiling to create softness overhead.

2. Build a plush, sound-absorbing headboard.
Having a luxe headboard on your bed makes it that much more inviting to relax in. Add crisp Egyptian cotton sheets with a high thread count.

3. Configure furniture to maximize space.
Remove unused furniture for a clutter-free feel. Create a cozy reading nook with comfy chairs, a great lamp and a stylish side table.

4. Install a dimmer switch.
Cut out harsh lighting and turn your bedroom into a soothing, spa-like sanctuary. Our oversized chrome lantern (in place of a ceiling fan) adds soft, low-level lighting that's easy to control.
5. Add pretty finishing details.
Keep your accessories within a unified palette. Stick to silver, glass, chrome and white to continue the clean, neutral theme, but add some life with hints of a single colour. Low flower arrangements are perfect for a nightstand and make the bedroom more inviting.
