Strawberry Tiramisu
Creamy and velvety, this spinoff of the famous Italian tiramisu is less fattening, easier to make and sure to be a hit!
Ingredients
| ½ cup | milk |
| ½ cup | espresso or coffee |
| 1 | package vanilla instant pudding powder |
| 1 | 85-g package ladyfingers |
| 4 or 5 squares | bittersweet chocolate |

| 1 | 250-g package cream cheese |
| 1 cup | 35% cream |
| 2 pints | fresh strawberries |
Instructions
- Prepare espresso or coffee and let cool. Meanwhile, using an electric mixer, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Blend in milk and half the espresso. Add in instant pudding powder and mix until creamy.
- Whip cream to a soft peak and fold in. Brush remaining espresso over ladyfingers.
- Line bottom of glass bowl with half of the ladyfingers and top these with 1 pint of sliced fresh strawberries. Cover with half of cheese mixture, and sprinkle with 3 squares grated bittersweet chocolate.
- Make second layer. Garnish with any remaining grated chocolate and berry slices.
