The earliest recorded whiskeys came from Ireland in the 15th century. Here's are the basics on the two types.
1. BLENDED The first choice for cocktails. Created by mixing together a range of malt and grain whiskies to give a desired colour, flavour and character. We suggest storring things up with Bushmills, $27. A grainy, peach aroma leads to a soft, sweet flavour, finishing with citrus rind notes. Serve with water and rocks.

Thank you very much for the wonderful ideas from your website. My husband and I are attending a gourmet supper group this weekend; leading me to check out a few recipes. Imagine my pleasure at finding the perfect recipes for dessert (Sticky Toffee Pudding with Whisky Caramel Sauce), accompanying beverage (Irish Coffee) and a fun "small talk" idea (info on Irish Whisky), all in one spot. Your site has definitely made my day fantastic!!! Keep up the good work.
