Sunset Dinner Checklist
- Precook your pasta.
- Have an extra tank of propane or bag of charcoal on hand for emergency grilling.
- Cook more food than you need. That way, you’ll have leftovers and won’t have to worry about lunch the following day.
- Precooked and marinated ribs are easy to find at the local grocer.
- Packaged coleslaw will save you chopping in the kitchen and cleaning a food processor.
- Use colour-coordinated tea towels as placemats.
- Candlelight adds sparkle to a table while the sun sets. Use citronella candles to help keep the bugs away.
- Keep a cooler of ice and beverages close by so you don’t have to keep running into the cottage.
