Savoury summer salsa tips:
Storing: Refrigerate fresh salsas, tightly covered, for no more than 5 days.

Tasty treats:

  • Toss your salsa with salad greens for a zesty, low-calorie dressing.
  • Use in a sandwich. Just be sure the salsa is not too wet or it will make your bread soggy.
  • Stir salsa into sour cream or plain yogurt for an instant dip.

Good for you: Salsa is a healthier approach to garnish than a butter-and- cream-based sauce. Salsas supply fibre and antioxidant vitamins.
