Pesto

Making pesto from scratch is not as difficult as it sounds, and it’s sure to impress!

Ingredients (Serves 4-6)

3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup pine nuts, lightly toasted
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves, washed
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, chop garlic.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. With the motor running, slowly pour in oil until well blended.
