Grilled Striploin Steak Baguette
This sandwich is an easy and satisfying dinner for two. We love it with the red onion marmalade* but if you are short on time pick up your favourite sandwich condiment from the grocery store.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
| 1/4 cup | olive oil |
| 3 | sprigs fresh rosemary, picked and chopped |
| 2 tsp | chopped Italian parsley |
| 2 tsp | picked fresh thyme |
| 2 cloves | garlic, peeled and finely chopped |
| 1 tbsp | kosher salt |
| 1 tbsp | cracked black pepper |
| 1 | 7 oz. trimmed striploin steak |
| 6 tbsp | red onion marmalade* |
| 1 | baguette, cut for 2 sandwiches |
Instructions
- Preheat grill.
- In a bowl combine first 7 ingredients. Rub this herb mixture onto steak and grill to medium rare.
- Meanwhile, spread 3 tablespoons red onion marmalade on bottom halves of baguette.
- Divvy up sliced striploin between baguette halves and top with 3 more tablespoons marmalade. Close sandwiches and dig in.
