Eight-Minute Chocolate Sauce

Use this sauce over waffles, strawberries or ice cream.

Ingredients (Makes 1/2 Cup)

1/4 cup 35% cream
1/2 cup quality cocoa powder
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a small pot and stir to combine.Bring to a boil, then reduce temperature to a simmer.
  2. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm, or cool and refrigerate for later use. To soften from fridge, pop in the microwave for a minute or two.
