Simple Beef Stir-Fry
Family and friends will beg for seconds of this easy and delicious dish.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
| 3 tbsp | dry sherry |
| 1 tbsp | soy sauce |
| 2 tsp | oyster sauce |
| 1 tsp | granulated sugar |
| 1 tsp | cornstarch |
| 1/4 tsp | salt |
| 1 | clove garlic, minced |
| 1 lb | beef tenderloin, thinly sliced |
| 2 | medium onions, thinly sliced |
| 1/2 tbsp | vegetable oil |
Instructions
- Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium bowl; mix in beef. Cover and refrigerate.
- In a wok, stir-fry onions in oil over high heat for about 5 minutes. Transfer to a serving plate, cover and keep warm.
- Add about 1/3 of beef to wok and cook until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan, arrange over onions and repeat with remaining beef. Serve with rice and sugar snap peas.

Nutrients per serving: 231 calories, 10 g fat, 24 g protein, 7 g carbs, 1 g fibre. Excellent source vitamins B6 and B12 and zinc.
