Chocolate Pecan Shortbread Cookies
This sweet and crunchy recipe is sure to become a favourite
Ingredients (Makes 18 )
| 1-1/4 | cups butter, softened |
| 1/2 | tsp vanilla extract |
| 2 | cups all-purpose flour |
| 1/4 | cup packed brown sugar |
| 1/4 | granulated sugar |
| 1 | cup chocolate chips |
| 1/2 | chopped pecans |
Instructions
- Cream butter until light and fluffy.
- Blend in vanilla extract.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well with your hands.
- Press dough into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 325 F for 18-20 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Cool completely and cut into bars.
