Green Light Smoothie
Get a shot of energy when you drink this easy-to-make shake.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
| 1 | cup low-fat vanilla yogurt |
| 1 | cup milk |
| 1 | cup chopped frozen spinach |
| 3 | tbsp liquid honey |
| 1/3 | cup fresh lemon juice |
Instructions
- Combine yogurt, milk, spinach and honey in a blender.
- Puree until smooth.
- With motor running, add lemon juice and blend until frothy.
- Pour into tall glasses.
Nutritional information
Nutrients per serving: 158 calories, 3 g fat, 6 g protein, 31 g carbs, 1 g fibre. Excellent source of vitamin A and folate.

It looks great but I think it makes me want to make it with fresh mint leaves instead. Much fresher and tastier for summer and I have tons of it growing everywhere around my yard!
