Green Light Smoothie
Get a shot of energy when you drink this easy-to-make shake.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
|1||cup low-fat vanilla yogurt|
|1||cup chopped frozen spinach|
|3||tbsp liquid honey|
|1/3||cup fresh lemon juice|
- Combine yogurt, milk, spinach and honey in a blender.
- Puree until smooth.
- With motor running, add lemon juice and blend until frothy.
- Pour into tall glasses.
Nutrients per serving: 158 calories, 3 g fat, 6 g protein, 31 g carbs, 1 g fibre. Excellent source of vitamin A and folate.
