Quick-Cook Scrambled Eggs
Can scrambled eggs get any faster? They can if you don’t have to dirty a bowl, a frying pan and a plate.
Ingredients (Makes 1 serving )
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 | tablespoons water |
| pinch of salt | |
| cheese, herbs, red peppers or other flavour boosters |
Instructions
- Crack eggs into a shallow microwaveable bowl.
- Add water and salt.
- Whisk eggs with a fork.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in microwave.
- Cook on high for 1 minute.
- Remove bowl from microwave and give eggs another scramble with a fork. At this point, you could add cheese, herbs, red peppers or other flavour boosters.
- Re-wrap and let stand for 1 more minute. The residual heat will continue to cook the eggs.
- Enjoy right out of the bowl!
