Sculpted Shapes
This trend, put forth by Raf Simons for Jil Sander and Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent, looks to the future, but is grounded in the ‘80s. It’s all about intellectual design and attention-grabbing shapes. Locally, Canadian designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong of Greta Constantine presented a striking fall collection that included architectural coats crafted from neoprene fabric.
