Plan the Perfect Mother's Day Brunch
Use our handy two-day plan to pull off your Mother's Day brunch party - stress-free!
Entertaining in the morning doesn't have to be stressful. Follow our simple two-day plan and we promise you'll spend more time with Mom and less in the kitchen.
Step 1: Get our make-ahead Mother's Day Brunch menu.

Step 3: Follow our helpful two-day plan below.
Two Days Before:
1. Clean the bathroom, kitchen and dining room. Tidy and dust all the other rooms in your house.
2. Shop for any brunch party accessories you might need such as napkins, place cards and flowers to set the scene. Buy or download one of our recommended albums to help you create the right mood.
3. Hit the market to pick up all the necessary groceries.
4. Make No-Bake Chocolate Cookies.
The Day Before:
1. Apple Puffed Pancake: Peel and slice apples; toss with lemon juice.
2. Cranberry Spinach Salad: Toast almonds. Mix salad dressing. Wash spinach.
3. Make Sparkling Cranberry Tea. Keep chilled in the fridge.
4. Asparagus Dill Wraps: Trim and blanch asparagus.
The Night Before:
1. Set the table.
2. Get out your baking dish for the pancake and set out all of your serving dishes.
3. Get the coffeemaker ready.
4. Clear up all dirty dishes to minimize mess in the morning.
The Morning Of:
1. Finish Asparagus and Dill wraps and place in fridge.
2. Turn on the coffee.
3. Give bathroom and kitchen a final tidy.
4. Get yourself ready.
As Guests Arrive:
1. Hit play on the CD player or iPod. (Check out four CDs we recommend for setting the mood.)
2. Set out Asparagus Dill Wraps for guests to munch on.
3. Serve coffee and Sparkling Cranberry Tea – enjoy your guests.
4. Mix Cranberry Spinach Salad and set on table.
5. Make Apple Puffed Pancake. Editor's Note: Serve immediately, as this dish falls very quickly once removed from the oven.
Step 4: Enjoy your brunch!
