Borrow savvy style sense from vintage furniture maven Rachelle Turner and create your own cozy holiday home
By Leah Weber

1. Add white.
For a clean and fresh look, break up dark wood and greenery by decorating the mantel with white objets d'art and vases.
2. Decorate with packaging.
Make gifts part of the decor by wrapping them in coloured paper that complements your home's palette. Finish off each gift with a sprig of greenery.
3. Use an outdoor planter.
Hold your tree with an elegant planter instead of an unsightly stand. Secure the trunk by burying it in small pebbles.

I love the interior design of this house, it looks so simple and clean but with loads of character! Great story, thank you for sharing.
