Organic materials like wood, leaves and rocks create a mantle with natural appeal. Grouping items in threes, like simple bundles of wooden sticks, makes a strong statement. Try varying the heights of objects to create a dynamic rhythm, and don't be afraid to attach smaller objects directly to the wall.
