Cosmetic Keeper

Until recently, packing consisted of cramming all my must-have beautifying products into a couple of Ziploc bags (even when I wasn’t boarding a plane). Why Ziplocs you ask? Well, it’s an ingrained fear of mid-travel explosions based on past experiences. For me, they seem to be inevitable. Body wash, lotion or toothpaste somehow manages to explode in my overnight bag, putting my clothes at risk. Recently, I came across these super-stylish cosmetic bags from Kate Spade and I started to rethink my whole packing method. These jewel-toned bags (fashioned after Monet’s gardens) come complete with wipeable liners in the event of a bottle mishap. My weekend jaunts to the cottage just got a whole lot more stylish.
