Go Porter or Go Home
With air travel getting more complicated, chaotic and compact, how nice to have Porter Airlines right at the doorstep of downtown Toronto. Besides not having to get to Pearson International, the benefits are multiple. Once you step off one of the shortest ferry rides in the world, it takes mere minutes to check in and there’s free coffee in the lounge, along with room to actually sit in a library-type carrel and work. Once on board the prop-powered Bombardier Q400s, you’ll find three more inches of legroom and actual glass glasses. I take Porter now instead of Air Canada when I travel to Ottawa. What pleases me is that the staff seem happy to be helping you and pleased as punch that you choose their airline.
Because of this I will try and fly Porter and will use the airline as it expands to other major hubs in North America.

I flew with Porter last month when I visited my partner in NY for a weekend. I highly recommend them. The service is great, they actually leave on time, they FEED you, actual flying time is only 5 minutes longer than with ACs jets, and TCCA is extremely easy to get to from anywhere in Toronto. It's perfect for business travellers and people who live in the city & hate having to commute to Pearson to jostle with hundreds of passengers on various flights in an overcrowded departure lounge. I've got my BF hooked on them too; he's flying with them to visit me in a couple weeks, and I'll be flying them again when I go back to visit him in August. Long live Porter! :)
