Picture Perfect

About this time every year, I tend to get a sinking feeling because I’ve left someone crucially important off the Christmas list, like say grandma, and there’s only a few shopping days left to go! Thankfully, I’ve just found the perfect solution. I had the opportunity this week to try out one of the Kodak Picture Kiosks, and I spent more than an hour happily playing with its zillion options for making calendars, greeting cards, invitations and prints in a bunch of sizes. You plug in your favourite photos on CD (or memory card) and let the creative juices flow! One of the pretty photo collages (printed on the spot for $1.50 for an 8x10-inch print) in a nice frame is an especially good last-minute grandparent gift. Now you can concentrate on the important things – like enjoying grandma’s mince pies!
