Cosmetic physicians are now customizing procedures to suit a patient’s individual needs. This often means doing two or even three different treatments at the same time to achieve the desired effect. While this may sound like a slippery slope to looking plumped and pulled beyond recognition, it’s actually the best way to achieve the most natural look.
For example, a filler might be used to plump lips (which lose density as we age), followed by Botox, which “can make fillers last longer by relaxing the pouting that people do,” says Dr. William McGillivray, a cosmetic physician in Vancouver.
