“I really think the tactile is as important as the visual,” says jewellery designer Pamela Coulston. As a result, her bold pieces in sterling silver and 18-karat gold are as weighty as they look. Although she’s opened a studio in Glebe to meet with local custom-design clients, her market is global thanks to the internet. Customers are as far away as Botswana.
